Amaru-kun is a 24-year-old anime and autosport fan who makes winamp skins whenever he can't get any sleep, which is quite often. He holds an LL.B and is doing nothing with it, but is still very happy with his present work since he gets to travel.

This layout features Avalon, a movie by Oshii Mamoru. And yes, I've seen it, and had a headache trying to follow the storyline. Polish language + Japanese subtitles + Amaru-kun speaks dodgy Japanese = headache.
Okay, finished the Wild Adapter skin - made a few changes, hopefully it's not as plain as the one below, but still plain enough as requested. >_>; It's up on orbit. Also fixed the broken link to the Narsillion skin... ^_^; Thanks for telling me, GC.

Why is it when I don't have the time to blog, I have a million things to say but when I do have time, I end up staring at the screen and trying to remember what on earth was I going to say? @_@
Bah. Social blogging it is.
Erik, about that letter to Kodansha/Shigeno - apart from it being a rather unnecessary move to change the names in the Initial D manga, you might want to mention the fact that Tokyopop not only changed the names, they also did an extremely poor job in translating the manga in the first place. Mention in your letter that basically almost all car and technical talk were either simply deleted, or poorly translated - or just dead wrong. (Come to think of it, that pretty much describes all the translations in the TP manga. I managed to read only about twenty pages or so before I decided I couldn't take it any more.)
Why on earth would you delete the technical and car-related bits? @_@ Of course, why dumb down the series for little prats when the series was aimed for the older crowd to begin with - I mean, the anime was aired in the late night slot in Japan for goodness sake. It'll probably get yanked off the air after parents start complaining about their little tykes trying to drift cars after watching the 'cartoon'.
Heck, even the Japanese fans who found out about this whole mess aren't happy. Noticed a few familiar names/nicks in the petition...
I bet Tokyopop would use "gutter technique" in their version too. Gah! How I detest that phrase! >_< It's called ditch hooking!
Hopefully this sort of thing won't happen to Wangan Midnight, Over Rev! or SS. (Well, WM will be animated soon, IIRC, spotted that news bit somewhere, I just don't remember where). EspeciallySS. It's rather unlikely since OR! and SS aren't really well-known, but still... *knocks on wood*
