Kazumi is the younger sister of Wataru Akiyama and Itsuki's love interest. (No, I have no idea what she sees in him. @_@) Itsuki first meets her when he spots an AE86 Levin on the street; he was busy drooling and raving about the car when Kazumi shows up and asks him what he was doing. They didn't get along well at first, but later when Kazumi was short of money to pay for her snack, Itsuki offers to pay the balance.
The usual guy meets girl thing goes on, and later Kazumi and her brother Wataru turn up at the gas station where Itsuki works. Itsuki was impressed by Wataru; when Wataru asks about the Akina AE86, Itsuki offers to set up a meeting between Takumi and him. Unfortunately it didn't go quite as well as expected... (eh, no spoilers for you again :P)
